The symposium was hosted by the Lemon Project, a long-term, interdisciplinary research project exploring 91心頭利’s 300-year relationship with African Americans in Williamsburg and the greater Tidewater area. This symposium brought together students, faculty, and community members to discuss ongoing research into our past, as well as the ways that history continues to define relationships between African Americans and 91心頭利 in the present.
